Black Bear Diner

The black bear diner is a local favorite for us Sandy, Utah folks.  What use to be a Village Inn is now one of the most popular diners in town.  From sweet cream pancakes to a 12 oz. chicken fried steak dinner, you can't go wrong with the huge variety on the menu.

The interior is decorated nicely and goes along with a cabin/mountain feel.  This diner is unique because they have an open kitchen- yep, that's right, you can see how they're making everything if you want to peek through the wall opening.

Every meal is a huge portion.  For me, it's large enough for both lunch and dinner.  With price ranges like any other diner, around $7 (most breakfast items) - $14 (most dinner items), this is a place I like to get breakfast food anytime of the day.

Iced tea, salad, chicken fried steak and potatoes with squash, and cornbread.
Total ~$11... portion = too much for her to handle XD

Shasta scrambled eggs (avo, tomato, onion, jack cheese, spinach),
hash, cornbread, and a HUGE biscuit.  Total ~$9 (both lunch and dinner for me)
Overall, food was delicious, service is great.  Before we started, we were tempted to get the lava cake for dessert... but alas, this food stuffed us to the brim.  It stuffed us so much we had to go out and exercise- via methods of shopping.  ;)
