The Windy Ridge Cafe is one of Park City's hidden secrets. Like many unique and festive places up there, this is a cozy restaurant with a patio in the beautiful Utah summer weather.
Two-dollar Taco Tuesday is a huuuuge hit. Proof is in the sheer number of people waiting outside.

I think there was at least a 1 hour wait! Thank goodness for drinks ;) |

Menu for Tuesday :) |
So, after searching for a parking spot (lots of random places to park, but it's pretty packed all the time), we settled down at a table near the live band and salsa bar.

I didn't know which ones to get- but by far my favorite one
is the salsa verde with avocados (mango salsa not shown) |
Appetizer was just chips and guacamole for $2/basket. All of us ordered tacos as our main dish. As you could see from the menu, there was beef, fish, chicken, or veggies. I believe you could order shrimp tacos for a little more $, but from what the ladies said, it was sooo worth it. :)

Shrimp! They served the tacos family style, so just
make sure you know what you ordered. |

Delicious fish tacos! Gum, anyone? |
Overall, I would highly recommend these tacos. They're a bit small, but you can get several different kinds. I ordered 3 tacos and was pretty full- but for most people, I would say 2-3 tacos + rice and beans would be a pretty filling meal.
Don't forget about the dessert....

Cinnamon sugar churros with Mexican chocolate sauce covered in a caramel glaze |
|
OMG... Key. Lime. Pie. |
Their desserts were a bit pricey, but it was a good way to end a good meal with friends to catch up on all that's going on and a pre-party for Rachael's wedding.
