Rice Crispy Wedding Cake

What a treat!  I am a sucker for wedding cakes- the texture, the lack of sugary-frosting (fondant is easier to scrape off), and the appearance.  Everything about wedding cakes is, well, happy.  :)

The colors were shades of blue.  The actual cake is only on the top and middle tier- with gorgeous pillars holding it up, decorated with floral blues and greens.  Underneath the cake, which looks like the bottom tier, is actually a gated flower garden encompassing an active 3 tier waterfall.  Absolutely gorgeous and very classy.

Good view of the waterfall :D
After the cutting of the "cake," it was soon to be revealed that the cake = rice crispies!  Bottom layer = peanut butter rice crispy, and top layer = chocolate rice crispy.

A piece of the "cake!"  ooey-gooey.  <3
Definitely not a traditional cake, but fun and classy/traditional in every which way.  Reminds me of the newlyweds getting married....  ;)

Congrats to Sherbet (Travis) and Jeanne Herbert!
