Oh, the sugary sweetness of weddings. Yes, the atmosphere of happiness and love in the air, the cheerful people reunited or joining as families for the first time... and the people eating hors d'oeuvres listening to love songs with gorgeous centerpieces that spread floral fragrance to every corner of the room.
The family was invited to my sister's childhood friend's wedding (who's family use to be our neighbors when we were kids).

Congrats Aimee + Brad! |
The spread was filling. Although we had a light dinner prior to attending, the delectable finger foods were so appetizing it was hard to resist seconds... or thirds.
|
Delicious cucumbers topped with a salmon spread and bacon crumbles |
|
Fried gyoza with a creamy soy sauce, filo-crusted filled with cheesy goodness
(not sure what it was, but it was good) topped with bacon |
|
Of course, the cheese & crackers, and a large variety of fruit |
|
The fondue, highlight of the reception. Beautiful fountain with a variety of dippers-
strawberries, rice krispies, oreos, marshmallows, and pretzels (stick and original) |
After cute dances, songs, and laughter, it was time for the grand finale. This isn't your traditional cake- it fit with the dining trend of... well, see for yourself.

Wedding cake with gourmet cupcakes ^_^ Stylish, cute, and simple. |
|
The cupcakes were a fluffy chocolate type with
vanilla frosting and candy pearls to decorate. |
|
Most of the bridesmaids loved them. :) |
|
A single loner cupcake... with all the bouquets ;) |
Overall, the wedding was a colorful, cupcake experience. I heart weddings....
